The Bloom is a group exhibition responding to the recent and still active algal bloom event that has impacted South Australia’s coastline and the communities who enjoy it.

Artists from around Australia were invited to submit work in either Photographic, Visual Art or Written categories.

The Bloom exhibition will be on display from Friday 6 February – Monday 16 March at the Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga, Adelaide and is presented by the City of Onkaparinga.

The Arts Centre is only a few hundred metres away from Sauerbier House where I have held two solo exhibitions on coastal themes. Filter in 2018 that was part of the Shimmer Photographic Biennale and Uprising in 2021.
